John's Journey

With one strong leg, and a cane in hand,

John walks through life, his spirit grand.

Though one arm rests, and one leg too,

His heart’s alive, his skies are blue.

A stroke once came, a stormy day,

But John stood firm, refused to sway.

He walks his path, two hundred yards,

Each step he takes, he’s breaking guards.

He cooks, he crafts, with skill and grace,

In every task, he finds his place.

Though others see what’s lost, he knows,

The strength within him only grows.

He writes, he reads, he sips his tea,

With every day, he feels so free.

The world may say, “You’ve slowed your pace,”

But John just smiles, he sets his pace.

A warrior’s heart, a lion’s roar,

He’s lived through trials, and yet there’s more.

For in his soul, there’s fire and might,

He’s found his way, his guiding light.

Each morning rise, each evening fall,

John stands tall, defying all.

He dreams, he laughs, he never quits,

With every step, his spirit lifts.

So here’s to John, with strength untold,

A life well-lived, a heart of gold.

He proves to all, through thick and thin,

The greatest battles are won within.
